One of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. Mindfulness and curiosity can help bring awareness to feelings of angst and sadness that reside within us. Within each unique story, there is meaning and purpose. As an existential and humanistic therapist, I often use narrative therapy which aims to help you see your challenges as separate from who you are as a human being. 

There are many theories, techniques, diagnoses, and labels out there. It is not my place to judge or label my clients. Behaviors may meet guidelines and there are a variety of ways to work through issues, but my clients are not numbers on a file; clients are people with the courage to seek out a professional to help them walk through their journey.

Hello! My name is Louise, nice to meet you! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado and provide in-person and video appointments for CO residents. I meet with teens (especially teen girls) and adults for individual counseling and also provide couples counseling. I received a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Concentration in Christian Counseling, so I offer a Christian perspective to the therapeutic process for those who desire. I specialize in the treatment of generalized anxiety and phobias, obsessive compulsion (OCD), religious scrupulosity, and stress in general. I help individuals struggling with post traumatic stress (PTSD), depression, life transitions, relationship and family problems, and workplace issues.
