Chronic arguing, distance and disconnection, or simply longing for more intimacy can leave those in committed relationships feeling hopeless. While every relationship is unique, I believe that no relationship is beyond repair; there is always hope for meaningful re-connection! So whether you are on the verge of relational rupture, in a long or short-term relationship, or looking for help navigating sexual issues, I am here to help.
I believe the best approach is listening to my patient, assessing their needs and educating them about the options. This evidence based treatment plan may include medications as well as therapy. I am prepared to work with you through the process.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has built my practice on the premise that, as your therapist, I can offer you a secure environment where you can express all parts of you and they will be accepted without judgment. The sessions I offer are mostly in person for individuals and couples, including nature therapy sessions in the beautiful outdoors of Grand County, Colorado. We will use mindfulness-based practices to step into awareness, where you will find acceptance and compassion for where you are at in your healing journey, so that more of your choices can be reclaimed. I would be honored to join and support you in the space where connection with self, other and the natural world can begin to heal the wounds of disconnection.

Thank you for considering me as your provider! With more than 19 years of experience, I have facilitated over 10,000 therapy sessions (with about half of those being group format). I have learned that it is at the crossroads of vulnerability and acceptance where the deepest level of healing and transformation occur and my primary responsibility is to provide the necessary safety, acceptance, and understanding. As such, I offer a no-risk initial session for all self-pay clients: you do not pay if we don't continue

The foundation of my practice is based on the premise that humans are inherently whole and want to move toward connection, health, and wellbeing. We can get there by understanding and moving through difficult emotions, as well as processing past traumas. Equally important, and critical to the process, is finding a sense of joy, comfort, calm, and safety. I use a mix of mindfulness, nature-based, and somatic practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, or EMDR. to help you feel more resourced, relaxed, regulated and ready to face more challenging feelings, memories, experiences, and transitions.
